” Uncle Wang was taking a nap lying on the couch, his eyes were still not open
"ลุงวังกำลังหลับนอนอยู่บนโซฟาดวงตายังไม่เปิด
 “Oh… “Zhang Yang went and picked up the worn out cellphone from the desk
"โอ้ ... " Zhang Yang หยิบโทรศัพท์มือถือที่ชำรุดออกมาจากโต๊ะ

They said that Uncle Wang deliberately managed to stay on the guard’s office, where his cell phone was often stolen

เขาไม่เคยล้มเหลวในการโทรศัพท์ก่อนและเวลานี้ก็ไม่มีข้อยกเว้น

Zhang yang carefully put the phone on the table, his face looked depressed, normally Liu Biao would not take more than ten minutes to meet him after a call, but to his surprise , today, when he actually needed him the most, he’s not available for another half an hour

"เด็กยากจนเปิดลิ้นชักแรก
” Uncle Wang raised his hand and said
"ลุงวังยกมือขึ้นและพูดว่า
“Oh”“Do you see a black plastic bag?”“Yes”“Eat it! It’s bread
"โอ้" "คุณเห็นถุงพลาสติกสีดำหรือ?" "ใช่" "กินมัน! 
”Zhang Yang opened the plastic bag, his eyes flickered, but he was a bit uneasy about the color of the bread being grey, he couldn’t help but ask “How long has this bread been there?”The old man sat up straight with surprise

” The old man hesitated as he seemed unsure about the exact day
"ชายชราลังเลที่เขาไม่แน่ใจเกี่ยวกับวันที่แน่นอน

"สำหรับหนึ่งสัปดาห์

”Zhang Yang took a mouthful bite of the bread with tearful eyes, he would rather eat the stale bread and get killed than to listen to the old man’s spiritual and mental torments
"จางหยางหยิบขนมปังด้วยน้ำตาที่เต็มไปด้วยน้ำตาเขาค่อนข้างจะกินขนมปังเก่า ๆ และเสียชีวิตกว่าที่จะฟังความทุกข์ทรมานจากจิตวิญญาณและจิตของคนชรา
The old man (Uncle Wang) had participated in the Vietnam War, as a matter of fact he was only sent there when the war had almost ended
ชายชรา (ลุงวัง) เข้าร่วมสงครามเวียดนามโดยแท้แล้วเขาถูกส่งไปที่นั่นเมื่อสงครามสิ้นสุดลง
 The old man didn’t even know how the Vietnamese look, but because of the occasional crossfire in the border the old man was considered as a war personnel
ชายชราไม่เคยรู้เลยว่ารูปลักษณ์ของชาวเวียดนามนั้นเป็นอย่างไร แต่ด้วยเหตุที่มีการข้ามพรมแดนเป็นครั้งคราวในชายแดนนั้นจึงถือว่าชายชราเป็นคนสงคราม
 And now, each month he still receives an allowance from when he was discharged from the military service
และตอนนี้ทุกเดือนเขายังคงได้รับเงินช่วยเหลือจากเมื่อเขาถูกปลดออกจากการรับราชการทหาร

แน่นอนคนอื่นแอบบอก Zhang Yang เกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้
 On the other hand the old man himself was blowing his own trumpet, announcing his accomplishment, basically saying that if it wasn’t for him in the Vietnam War, China certainly wouldn’t have won
ในทางกลับกันชายชราตัวเองกำลังเป่าแตรของตัวเองประกาศความสำเร็จของเขาโดยทั่วไปบอกว่าถ้าไม่ได้สำหรับเขาในสงครามเวียดนาม, จีนอย่างแน่นอนจะไม่ได้รับรางวัล
  At the beginning, he also managed to fool a group of students to worship him as a war hero, but gradually as his words started to monopolize everything, the layer of glorious image that was created in the student’s heart started to collapse
ในตอนแรกเขาก็สามารถหลอกกลุ่มนักเรียนให้นมัสการเขาเป็นวีรบุรุษสงคราม แต่ค่อยๆเป็นคำพูดของเขาเริ่มผูกขาดทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างชั้นของภาพอันรุ่งโรจน์ที่สร้างขึ้นในหัวใจของนักเรียนเริ่มยุบลง

แต่พวกผู้ใหญ่ก็ยังไม่มีความคิดเรื่องนี้

"" Zhang Yang, รีบขึ้น! "เสียงขรุขระมาจากข้างนอกประตู
“Ah uncle Wang, Liu Biao is here, I’ll get going now
"อาลุงวัง, หลิวบัวอยู่ที่นี่, ฉันจะไปตอนนี้

เขาเพิ่งปรับพัดลมให้มีความเร็วต่ำสุดและค่อยๆลุกออกจากห้องยามแล้วปิดประตู

"รีบขึ้นอย่าช้าลงเหมือนสุนัขตัวเมีย
”At the school’s gate, there stood a tall guy, wearing a suit with a white shirt, striped tie, thick eyebrows, eyes like that of a leopard, looked ordinary at the first sight
"ที่ประตูของโรงเรียนมีชายสูงยืนอยู่สวมชุดสูทด้วยเสื้อเชิ้ตสีขาวผูกเน็คไทคิ้วหนาตาเหมือนเสือดาวดูธรรมดาตั้งแต่แรกเห็น
A worn out Yamaha 250, entirely covered with grease dirt stopped by the side
Yamaha 250 ที่ชำรุดและปกคลุมด้วยสิ่งสกปรกที่ติดอยู่ด้านข้าง
